Marlon Richards

Marlon is the Head of Operations and Integrations of Appital with nearly two decades of experience in trading operations, technical integrations and product development. He joined Appital in March 2021 to lead the development of Appital’s FIX based integrations and workflow with Turquoise, EMS partners and brokers, in preparation for the launch of Appital Turquoise BookBuilder™ in August 2022. Appital Turquoise BookBuilder™ is the world’s first algorithmic bookbuilding platform that enables institutional investors to participate in liquidity discovery, price formation and execution opportunities in multiple days’ volume in listed equities. Prior to joining Appital, Marlon was the API Product Manager and Customer Integration Engineer at MarketAxess, in charge of buy-side and sell-side technical liaison, FIX and OMS / EMS integrations and STP project management. Marlon started his career holding various roles at banks and hedge funds including SAC Capital, Severn River Capital, Citigroup, and Credit Suisse.
